JPJ Computers was established in Reading in 1999. We provide computer/game console repairs and services to home-users/small businesses in the Reading area.

We resolve both hardware and software related faults. Most repairs/services are carried out at our computer workshop.

We can also visit your home/office premises (this is dependent on the type of fault your device has). If we are unable to repair your faulty device at your premises, we will take it back to our computer workshop for further inspection and repair. Once inspected, we will contact you to report our findings and provide a repair/service quote (verbally on the phone or via an e-mail). The repair/service will only proceed if you are happy with the quote and you give us the go-ahead.

We can also provide you private computer tuition at your premises or at our premises. This tuition is mainly for computer beginners who want to learn the basics of how to:-

Use a computer/use e-mail/connect to the internet/browse the internet with search engines/use Microsoft Office applications (e,g. Microsoft EXCEL for spreadsheets/charts and Microsoft WORD for word processing/creating documents).

We can also build you a Gaming PC to your chosen technical specification. You will firstly need to provide us with ALL of the necessary parts, materials and software (e.g. Windows operating system and applications) for this build. You will pay us a labour charge for the build and the software installation (if you need us to also install the software for you) PLUS the cost of any parts, materials and software (e.g. Windows operating system and applications) provided by us, which were not provided by you.

We first started to repair PS3/XBOX 360 game consoles in 2012, followed by PS4/XBOX One/XBOX One S in 2015 and XBOX One X in 2019. In late 2020, we started repairing PS5/PS5 Digital Edition/XBOX Series X/XBOX Series S. In 2023, we also plan to start repairing Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite.
